hey mike-
            so today is your brothers feast and it made me think of how long its been already when i read what ppl write you it still brings tears to my eyes i remember way back when you'd always come over w/jimbo i remember one time you called your mom for a ride home and she didnt know where to go so you were using your hands and i said "she cant see you" and you pushed me when i think of that it makes me laugh....jims coming home in a month from iraq i know he misses you do me a favor and watch over my brothers for me...i know you are tho....and your mom is so strong she's lost all her babys and she survived i wouldnt be able to i know they think and pray for you's everyday. you will always be missed but never forgotten. i hope i get to see you again in the next life

Hey Mike,

Whats up with the dream I had of you this morning?  It made me cry and think about you alot today.  I don't know why you come to my bad dreams like that, I don't know if your trying to tell me to move on or what, but I can't.  I'm not ready to.  I miss you so much still Mike.  You were always there for me and believed in me, and I haven't got that from anyone yet.  My friends alot of times sound disinterested in my stories, you would never get disinterested, thats what I miss Mike, you were just there, no matter what, I dont have anyone like that anymore, and it sucks.  I don't know, I'm just glad I'm starting work on Monday, it'll keep me busy and doing something.  I just want you to know that you don't need to come to my dreams in a negative way to get me to move on, if that is what ur trying to do, because that shit hurts most of all, and I know your in a good place right now and maybe thats what ur spose to do, but just simply telling me that I need to move on would be more appropriate you know?  It hurts alot Mike.  Just please come in a good way, come and tell me how your doing, and give me some good advice.  I'll always love you.

Michael:  Thinking about you, Autumn and Jerry so much lately.  Maybe it's because Jerry's one year feast is coming up so fast.  It seems like these days are going by faster and faster.  Still cannot believe that all 3 of you kids are really gone.  We still expect or wish you would walk thru the door.  Please help Felicia get thru these hard times, we know she also misses you so very much.  It is still hard for her to come over by the house because that is where you and her spent alot of time.  Especially down by the lake.  We are not going to push her into it because like us, she needs to deal with it at her own pace no matter what other people say.  The hurt is never fully going to go away.  All we can do is take everything one day at a time.  Miss and love you, Autumn and Jerry alot.

Baby Michael's Naming Ceremony  / Mom
Hey Mike:  Today we gave Baby Michael's his traditional naming ceremony. We had it at the Tribal Office.  There was quite a bit of people who attended.  I made him a ribbon shirt and his first pair of moccasins.  He looked so cute. Bobby Williams gave Michael his name.  Guess what?  Your ojibwe name was passed on to Michael and he was very priviledged to get another name besides. So his ojibwe names are Chi Eyabe (Big Buck) and Naagane kumig (Leading Man).  Bobby said that Michael was given this name because he came into our lives when everyone needed him so much to help us heal and give us strength.  There was only one other person that Gary Quaderer knew that had this name and that was Eugene Begay, who was a spiritual leader. So, I know Michael will someday live up to that name and become someone very special and continue to help other people throughout his life.  He was also given eagle feathers in his honor.  There was so much food.  We know you kids were looking down upon him and smiling. Continue to watch over him as he grows.  We will always let him know how he came about getting both his English and Ojibwe names.  Love and miss you so much, we see alot of you in Baby Michael.

Happy Birthday  / Marsha (MOM#2)
A Very Wonderful Birthday Wish to you Mike in the Spirit World!!
Well Mike - We went out to dinner on your Birthday last night with your mom and dad.  Your mom, dad and I had the Prime Rib and Felicia had the Barbecue Ribs.  The food was excellent but what was more awesome was just spending long overdue time together.  We missed Erin and Tyler with us though but Felicia has promised to go eat with Erin at the end of this week.  I will take Tyler to a place of his choice - of course it will be McD's!  He was really upset with me for not picking him up.  I told him what it was all about and he wanted to go so I hope to pursuad him to a fancy restaurant.   Anyways, we knew you must have stopped by for a bit because the pranks started!!  We sat at the table laughing when Neomi overspilled her coffee but when I did the same thing like 20 minutes later, we knew you must have been there.  We asked for a sign and you gave us one.  Gees, Mike come on now, just because me and Neomi didn't have an after dinner drink with your dad and Feesh and than when your mom stumbled on the carpet a bit?!!!  Making us look like we couldn't handle our drinks!!
Sheesh! Next Year, I will have a mix drink to toast for you OK!!! Ha HA HA HA HA!!!!
